Myerscough college visit

As part of further developing our staff at Fylde Fresh and Fabulous, some of our directors spent a morning at land-based higher and further education campus Myerscough College in the Lancashire countryside just north of Preston.

Welcomed by College Principal Anne Turner and her team, the visit was used to explore the opportunities available to FFF staff for further training and also the opportunities to take students studying at the college on work placements.

Director Colin Bradley said: “We have a wide variety of different skills required to run the FFF operation. From the potato growing process, potato procurement, factory engineering, food quality management, logistics and financial control.

Personally, I am extremely passionate about giving young people opportunities to get on their career ladder. Therefore, it’s fantastic news for us to have established strong links with Myerscough.”
