Due to continuing business growth and development, potato grower and processor, Fylde Fresh and Fabulous Ltd are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team and support our continued success. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HGV class 1 driver to join our team providing a high-quality product and service across the country. We are currently expanding due to our strong standing within the industry and excellent reputation for the quality of work we deliver to our clients

HGV Class 1 Permanent Driver, the work will involve:

• Working Monday – Thursday – 5pm start until finish
• Requirement to cover holiday that will include weekend and nights out
• Work consisting of delivering to a handful of contract customers.
• Ensure all aspects of safety, personnel hygiene, and customer site rules are adhered to.

Requirements:

• Digital Tachocard and CPC card
• 1 year UK HGV Class 1 experience.
• Forklift license/experience desirable
• Previous Fridge experience would be desirable but not essential as training would be provided.
• Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) clearly and confidently
• Ensure all transport legislation including driver’s hours and vehicle defect reporting is adhered to.
• Have an understanding of the law relating to driver’s hour’s regulations and Tachograph is essential.
• The ideal candidate must be flexible

We offer a competitive salary with rates changing after 10hr shift, nights rates and weekend rates.
